Just Sitting in the Rain

There was a heavy shower this afternoon but it didn't deter this brave little sparrow waiting her turn at the coconut feeder.  Two starlings turned up today.  They are a bit big for the feeder but it doesn't stop them from trying to fit their beak into the feeder.  I like the colours in this blip and the lichen on the branches.  This is an Albizia tree and it is late to get its leaves.  It isn't very healthy and I thought it might be dead.  I have planted two Kowhai under it so when it's time is up there is a replacement.  Back blips from Wellington start here
