St Paul’s Bay from the Acropolis of Lindos.

We docked in Rhodes and had to be out on our excursion for 7.20. We drove to Lindos, commentary all the way on the bus as we drove through stunning scenery.

We climbed up all the steps and slopes to the Acropolis and my blip is the view of St Paul’s Bay from the top, near the Temple of Aphrodite.

We hastened back down so we could visit the beautiful Byzantine church - such atmosphere. The village was charming, reputed to be the first place in Greece where St Paul began his mission (hence the name of the bay).

We were back on the bus by 10.15 and headed for the Aegean Odyssey to sail at 12.00.

This cruise has flown by. Athens tomorrow for our return flight to Heathrow. It’s been a dream.
