Tioram in Autumn

My favourite castle sits on Loch Moidart, a sea loch, and becomes inaccessible by foot at high tide. The weather was somewhat miserable today but we sought shelter along the Silver Walk, which gave us good views back towards the castle. Castle Tioram (meaning "Dry Castle", possibly because it had no well) is unfortunately dangerous to go inside, although I have been in before they closed it off.

As well as seeing the castle, my husband and I celebrated our first anniversary today with a delicious meal from our B&B and some alcohol free champagne!
