Honey I Shrunk the Kids
MONDAY
A frosty start to a fab day in Glasgow.
I clocked up the best part of 25,000 steps doing the Mural Trail which weaves its way around the city centre and waterfront.
There are too many to blip - my favourites are here and in the extras.
A trip to the Museum of Modern Art late afternoon and a whizz round the shops at the end of the day.
All punctuated with various food and coffee stops including mandatory Tunnock’s fayre.
The main blip is Honey I Shrunk the Kids - a colossal image, by artist Smug (Sam Bates), which depicts a girl with a magnifying glass who appears to be picking up an object o ff the street.
The extras include -
The World's Most Economical Taxi (Do taxis float in Glasgow?) by artist Rogue-One;
St Enoch and Child also by Smug; and part of
Fellow Glasgow Residents which depicts the wildlife found in the city's parks.
