Downtown ...

I took this on my way home from Pilates class this lovely, perishing cold morning, simply because I thought it gave a picture of Dunoon that shows how town and sea are so closely linked, so that St John's spire towers over the Western Ferries crossing the firth, and the shops and the Burgh Hall seem almost to be on the shore.

My extra photo is of the shoreline at Toward, just south of the Primary School. I always think the children who go there are so fortunate to have their playground just overlooking the beach - though I don't know that they'll get out to play during a storm...
