Grey Stanes o' Greenmow

Another cold day, and breezy, but sunny and dry.

I've been working in the museum office today, and working with photo orders.  I was done in the museum at times, and fairly quiet.  Mam and Elise popped by for a cuppa this evening, and Elise has been helping me get the Halloween decorations sorted from the loft.  Off to work in the pub later.

A fine lunchtime walk, and fresh air out in the fields.  This massive chunks of rock are quartz erratic, left over from a glacier deposit.  All of the rock around the area is Old Red Sandstone, so this must have come from miles away.  It was a great place to play as a bairn, climbing to the top.  The Grey Stanes o' Greenmow, Cunningsburgh.
