Sometimes you take a (lucky) photo, download it and just love it on sight!
Look at the smile on that white-faced monkey - pure happiness!  
Each time I look at it it makes ME smile.  It had to be my pick of the day.

In the (excessive amount of) extras you have:

An early morning beach scene.

A lucky (again) shot of a female grackle.

An unusual fly.

Leafcutter ants (not brilliant as I don't have a macro lens)

A beautiful green lizard with a beady eye on me.

A small raccoon that took me by surprise by walking so close that he/she actually brushed against my leg and so the photo is out of focus..

A chestnut-billed toucan who posed beautifully.

All creatures wild and roaming free .......... what a fabulous day of photography and wandering around in ........................

Very well done to mollyblobs who identified the coastline shot (day 1) as Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic - great sleuthing.
