Machine for moving humans

I spent today moving between meetings in the big smoke and shuffling in silent but dogged queues to get to the platform, queues to board, queues to sit, queues to alight and queues to exit the station. It's still amazing to me that, somehow, it all works. On the plus side, the reception had a nespresso machine with caramel coffee. Looking forward to home.
