Future Decoded

A long day for me (Annie). Up for the 5:45am train to London, tube and DLR to the Excel exhibition centre. It's Microsoft's Future Decoded conference over the next two days, and my company has a stand. I've been in a set of technical sessions all day - and had to do a live streamed video for our company half way through the day. 

The highlight of the day was the afternoon Keynote. It started with Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock, her slide pictured here, talking about the power of crazy dreams. Then Sir Michael Caine - a great speaker - interviewed about his life advice in his new book ("Blowing the Bloody Doors Off") and being the best you can be. Inspirational stuff, both.

A long trip home, the first bit of which was made lovelier by also having a friend with me. Time to do it all again tomorrow!
