Future Decoded Day 2
The second day of the Microsoft conference in the Excel convention centre, London for me (Annie). After a quick wash and iron of my company shirt last night, I was up bright and early again to go back into London.
Another thought-provoking day. The keynote this morning covered a number of topics, including improving accessibility and life in general for people with disabilities using tech. Some inspiring topics - and so good to hear about. Satya (CEO of Microsoft) was also in the keynote, talking about the tech responsibility of giants like Microsoft.
In one of the breakout sessions I went to a great talk about what Shakespeare can teach you about AI biases. It was an interesting and innovative talk - including getting people up on stage to be Shakespeare characters. I was the Queen of Denmark, in Hamlet. So good to have a different, creative take on a tech talk.
The afternoon keynote was rounded off by Matthew Syed - an author and journalist (shown here). He was exactly the right level of inspiration, talking about the growth mindset, to round off this great conference.
Now - sleep!
