Stole #3

Continuing the stole story....

From the waters of baptism to the bread of life. On the left shoots of wheat above stylised leaves symbolising growth and creation. On the right, the chalice shaped by the stitching in the background, with three ears of wheat. Bread and wine.

There is also a stylised cross below the chalice, highly curved. It is made from leather, for a reason that presently escapes my memory.

The golden colour also recalls for me the dunes of Lindisfarne.
