Follow the guide

It was back to class day. I enjoyed time off, but I missed teaching. The thing was, however, that the already condensed semester (12 weeks instead of 15) has to be condensed again, so today's class was a bit daunting: a reading quiz on Dom Juan, an overview of renaissance and classicisme and baroque literature, while going over notions for their next writing assignment. We managed it, but at the end of the 3:30 hours, I was losing my voice and they were getting a rather glazed face.
