Day 20. Bouda Stupa

Every morning hundreds of people go to the Stupa to pray. Monks, Nuns, Tibetans, tourists, all Buddhists walk clock wise, three times around the stupa with beads in their hands and spinning the wheels prayers. All of them seem very spiritual and happy. A lovely monk told Andy how respectful is to take photos of people praying. I agree, so this is the first and last photo about it.

2. We had our formal induction afternoon. The situation in Nepal is very unstable and very sad: our boss Saloni defined it as: "Anarchy everywhere".
3. We finally have some clean clothes. While Andy was taking photos at the Stupa, I decided to go to the laundry on my own. I felt so brave and proud of myself for doing it (especially when there are lots of street dogs and no electricity) but It was not for too long. Mr Spoon met me outside the laundry .

Cada mañana cientos de personas acuden a la Estupa a orar. Monjes, monjas, los tibetanos, los turistas, todos los budistas caminan en sentido del reloj tres veces alrededor de la stupa con los granos en sus manos y girando las ruedas de oraciones. Todos ellos parecen muy espirituales y felices. Un monje muy amable le dijo a Andy lo irrespectuoso que es tomar fotos de la gente rezando. Estoy de acuerdo, aso que esta sera la primera foto y la última al respecto.

2. Tuvimos nuestra tarde inducción formal. La situación en Nepal es muy inestable y muy triste: nuestro jefe Saloni lo definió como anarquia por todas partes.
3. Por fin tenemos algo de ropa limpia. Mientras que Andy estaba tomando fotos en la Estupa, decidí a ir a la lavandería sola. Me sentía tan valiente y orgullosa de mí misma por hacerlo (sobre todo cuando hay un montón de perros callejeros y sin electricidad), pero no fue por mucho tiempo, el señor Cuchara me esperaba fuera de la lavanderia.
