a rare sight...

a small bird in the garden!! There has been very little trace of many varieties of birds recently thanks to the bullyboy tactics of the big fat Wood Pigeons, and also the presence of local cats, but while I was out planting tulip bulbs today it was nice to see this little blue tit, along with a sparrow, enjoying some  bird treats. So I'm hoping this is a good sign and more will follow!

Successful time in the garden with many tulips and iris bulbs planted this morning before an enjoyable afternoon watching England beat South Africa in the rugby.  Watching football this evening, in between reading and constantly checking on Archie the bunny - fireworks are way too noisy nowadays :(
