Cat Cake

Son #3 has a birthday tomorrow (yes, Guy Fawkes Day - everyone in the UK celebrates his birthday each year!!). Since I'm going away tomorrow to the blippers' week at Lakeland Photographic Holidays, he came round this evening for a pre-birthday tea.

I'm not a "cat person" myself but he and his partner are - they now have 2 cats in fact. So my Editor decided to bake him a cat cake. She's had a rather busy week so it had to be made rather quickly yesterday evening. She says that it didn't work out quite as well as she'd hoped, in fact she called it her "cat-astrophe", but we all thought it was fun anyway. And it was tasty.
