365 and fashionably late

Last week I unexpectedly found that I wasn't ready to take or post the defining 365th blip. A lot has happened recently and I thought that with my starting my unpaid leave I'd have/make/desire/create etc blips galore, but for the last 6 days it didn't feel right. I needed to be the right head space and I've been so utterly busy playing house (rearranging rooms, putting up shelves, sorting out clothes, boxes of books, minor decoration etc etc) that I couldn't face the rotten weather to try and be creative. I really just needed to stay indoors and bed down a wee bit, hibernate and enjoy time cooking, reading and following a daily Yoga routine. We also have a language student coming to stay with us for 2 weeks (austerity measures already)! Which meant a lot of organizing of room contents.

Today the sun shone all day, Mike and Yola were at home, so we all went to the beach for walk to take THE 365 blip. 'Better late' than never. I was happily content making my blips in the sand whilst they combed the beach and took some of their own shots. Yola has been given a very good little compact by my dad and is quite keen to get better (me too, I'm just not putting enough effort into it)!! That IS something I'm hoping to improve upon in the next 6 months. I hope to continue to see you all along the way. xxx
