An amazing debut novel!

This was Bernice L McFadden's debut novel which B came across by chance in a library ten years ago. When we became a couple he recommended it to me as he thought I'd really empathise with elements of Sugar's personality and I'd enjoy it. He was right! I love it so much I'm reading it really slowly to make it last.
