SAVE THE TREES!

There is a long avenue of beautiful sycamore trees in the park that are about 50 years old and aren't a problem. Since getting Lottery and National Heritage funding for the park, part of the councils plans involve felling the trees and replacing them with flower beds. It's obvious that in a few years Manchester city council aren't going to have the funding for the upkeep of the beds and they will get neglected. This is one of the ways we are protesting.
