Khwae Noi

Spent the day getting to and exploring the Kanchanaburi area. This view was over looking Khwae Noi. It’s a beautiful country. I love mountains and rivers!

A major part of this trip was to explore my Grandad’s journey while we was a Japanese Prisoner of War during the Second World War. He was captured in Malaya and sent to work on the Thai-Burma Railway. As with many of the time he told very little of what happened. So we are slowly building the pieces and added more today. We have two more days in this area to learn more.
