Lunch on the river

Specifically, lunch on the river. On a little house boat / raft that is disconnected from the bank other than a few planks of wood. This is located on the same river as yesterday’s blip but in Saiyok National Park. Part of which was one of the camps during WW2.

Learning so much about Grandad’s journey. It’ll take a while for it to sink in and process I’m sure. We learnt that he was in the Kannyu camps which meant he may have been involved in the construction of ‘Hellfire Pass’. Eventually I will write this all down and see where it all fits on a map. Right now I’m just trying to absorb the information!
