Temperature stress

Decided to pop into town again today as my husband had meetings there and said he'd join us for lunch. One reason I'm looking forward to him working in a bar in town again (and believe me there are more downsides) is that he will only be a few miles away and we can always pop in to see him if we miss him.

Couldn't resist this blip shot of the David Beckham pants display in H&M. In my defence, it was right by the lift and we waited a lonnnnnnng time for the lift (a new discovery as a Mum with a pram - lifts, don't expect to get anywhere in a hurry basically!)

Had a few errands to do then pootled round the shops picking up some more clothes for Audrey. She is at that awkward 5 month size in stuff so she has grown out of all her 0-3 and most of her 3-6 is looking like she could outgrow it soon too but she isn't ready for 6-9 yet. We went with 6-9 in any case. Money doesn't grow on trees and am loathed to replace it again in a few months.

I do keep panicking that she's cold though. She pulls her mittens off as she likes to play with things in her pram so her little hands are always exposed to the elements. In the house, she manages with just a vest and long sleeve baby-grow but she often seems a bit chilly. However, the minute I pop a cardigan on, she complains she's too hot.

Same goes for at night. We currently have her in a long sleeve vest, pyjamas, grobag with 2 thin and 1 thick blanket. Room temperature is roughly 20 but sometimes she feels cool to the touch in the middle of night and I just wonder if that is responsible for her waking so often (seven times last night!)

Any other blip Mums got any advice regarding what to dress her in at home and how many layers she should have at night in the current temperatures? Any help much appreciated!
