Bruntsfield Hospital

Visited S today and saw this on the way to her house which reminded me of the origins of this hospital. Sophia Jex Blake was the first female general practitioner in Scotland. She established a hospital in Grove Street and after a couple of moves and changes, it finally ended up here, on Bruntsfield Links in her former home.
