Beside the River....

We were near the end of our early morning walk, a lovely still golden morning. Maisie took a quick dip in the river.
I managed to get some gardening done this morning. I have an invasion of wild violets in one particular flowerbed. The plants are choking up other more desirable ones and are tough to remove. I persisted until the sun got too hot for comfort. The nor-west wind came up this afternoon. It stirs up the trees and creates quite a mess.
