Tree Man

A gardener arrived early this morning (8:30) to trim the conifers and give the quince tree a haircut.  The conifers are actually in next door's garden, we would be happy to see them gone as they block the light.  He recently had his side trimmed, top and sides, so we thought we'd do our side. This picture was taken through the bedroom window.

Our friends Nicola and Stewart visited today.  We prepared an aubergine and pea curry which we served with pakora, bhaji and samosa.  After lunch we lit the wood burner and had a cosy chat with coffee.
