12/19 .......... postcard from ........ Costa Rica.

Today a hunt for the Resplendent Quetzal ...... the hunt was successful but my photos were not particularly resplendent ...... check out osusanna's blip for an amazing photograph.

I have settled for hummies at sundown and in the extras the view from my room at 8500 feet above the clouds in the valley!  Amazing.

A five thirty am start in the the morning to search for more quetzals! 

A lot chillier up here and no humidity - we even have space heaters in the rooms!
