Burano

A visit to Burano today. From our hotel it takes about 90 minutes to get to the island. We managed to get outside seats in both directions on the vaporetto. Warm and sunny so it was nicer to sit outside.

Burano was very colourful. Supposedly the houses were painted different colours so the fishermen would easily recognise their own house.

On our return to to Zattere we paused in a bacaro for some cicchetti.
