Enjoying a good splash!

Good to see a blue sky this morning after a couple of very dull days. The park was reasonably busy with plenty of dog walkers, pram and buggy pushers and even a group of children from a local primary school having a cycling lesson.

I'm not sure if this is the male or female swan but he/she was certainly making a great splash when the dogs and I were walking round the pond. The rest of the family were pecking at the algae growing on the stone at the edge of the pond.

Still one or two leaves, dressed in their beautiful autumnal colours, clinging to the branches.
