Wind-whipped

Well, the wind has got up and is set to reach staggering speeds again over the next 24 hours. Already the unremittant sound of it is adding a fresh layer to our tinnitus (for me and Mr PP both). Sick of it! Anyway, this is my entry for this week's Abstract Thursday challenge, kindly hosted by ingeborg. I've played with the contrast and given the leaves a bit of a windy whirl.

Saw the dentist this afternoon but, after she'd had a look at my broken tooth, and established that I'm in no pain, she suggested that she might provide a temporary fix when I go for another filling next week.  Eventually, the tooth will need capping at a cost in excess of £500, but at least I have time to save up!

Finished doing a 1000-piece jigsaw today (see Extra). It was a really fun one to do of a car auction - a painting with a 1960s setting. As I bought it from a charity shop, I kept worrying there'd be a piece missing, but it was complete: hoorah! Just the right activity for this unclement weather and the dark evenings. Well, that and ... line dancing tonight! Shan't enjoy the drive but it'll be worth it once I'm there.
