Repton Revealed

This evening G and I went to the Repton Revealed illuminations in Sheringham Park, This is the first such show at Sheringham Park and is to commemorate 200 years since the death of Humphrey Repton, the designer of the landscaped park, his ‘most favourite work’. It is only on for 7 nights, so we were keen to see the spectacle and were lucky it was a relatively warm and dry night with clear skies - it could have been a lot worse in North Norfolk in November near the coast!!! The photo shows Sheringham Hall which was illuminated in a 20 minute show with music which played on a loop. Sheringham Park in on a hill which leads down towards the sea, and so you also had a wonderful view of the stars, particularly as there was negligable light polution - and I was lucky enough to see a shooting star. It was a very enjoyable event - and after over 2 hours outside taking photos without gloves, my fingers are just about coming back to life!!!
