Heritage Exhibition

I was helping out with a Heritage Exhibition today on the contribution made by local doctors and nurses in the care of the wounded in WW1. This table features the work of one of our local hospitals ( Woodend ) which was a major Scottish Centre for rehab of soldiers. Many soldiers got involved in practical therapy - art, woodwork etc along with treatments such as physio which were very much in their infancy in those times.
