Come to Chester Zoo!

Grandbaby is two today! This is when we all met her for the first time:

We all went to the zoo to celebrate! She was most surprised to see both grandmas together! And both grandads! Two aunties, two cousins plus friends. 15 of us in all! So we didn’t go round fast!

Monkeys were hard to shoot as their place is so dark so I was pleased with this shot! The chimps are in a lighter place but you mainly get to see bottoms!

Lunch was great all together. Then the kids loved the play areas including a huge slide!
Lots more animals but one of my favourite was when we were standing around in a group discussing which way to go : we suddenly looked down and this Mallard was in the middle looking up expectantly! Grandbaby loved him and the two female ducks who followed! We couldn’t disappoint could we!
Finally we went to the café near the entrance and Grandbaby opened her presents. She so enjoyed that!

Now they are both in bed here. Peace reigns!
