Armistice

A big thank you to all those who lost their lives in the two world wars!  Today we commemorate the loss of so many.

This is an extract of a book my mother produced for my children to tell them about  the two world wars as she had experienced them.  She was very little at the end of the first World War.

My mother died in 5 November 2002.  She had never liked fireworks: They reminded her too much of the war.
