A tin of Geraniums.
We woke up in Stratford-upon-Avon and had the expected full English breakfast before doing a walk RF had found around some lovely parts of the town. There was a heavy down pour part way through which gave us the opportunity to shelter in a café before continuing in the sun. We visited Holy Trinity church, the site of Shakespeare's grave. Inside the church there was a seat reserved for Private G Knight, one of the victims of WW1 (extra) how moving! There are silhouettes throughout the UK to mark the centenary of the ending of that awful period of history. Thank you sir for making the ultimate sacrifice!
We then drove to Chester and have had a walk around the centre of the city before dinner in a great tapas bar nestled under the city wall. Thank you for a lovely day all those who fought and fight for freedom.
