Lalibela

Today we left Addis for Lalibela, arriving early in the morning. 2600metres above sea level, in mountainous terrain. Spent the day touring the 11 churches which were hewn out of the rock by King Lalibela in the 12th century. Some call them the 8th wonder of the world.
