Pumpkin Graveyard

I took Finlay out to the woods (just for a change) and we discovered several discarded pumpkins..obviously a hangover from Halloween that no one wants. Seems odd to have carted them all the way to the woods to dispose of them.. I wonder of there are any creatures that will eat them or if they will just rot.

After watching the Cenotaph ceremony on TV this morning ( I was a little surprised to see one D Cameron there..how does he have the nerve to show his face in this country after the mess he has created?) Mrs madwill and I had a rare outing together…not very exciting, just lunch out in Thirsk and a wander round the town, followed by a bit of shopping!

I did spot some rather splendid coffee cups..(see extra) but was a bit alarmed by the ‘biodegradable’ label…does this mean that at sometime it will dissolve away and drop its contents down your shirt? At which point you have to shell out another £9.99 for a new one. It is a nice business model. A bit like the bloke that sold his homing pigeons over and over again :-))
