A remarkable day of remembrance, honouring those who gave their tomorrow for our today. All 888,246 whose lives were cut tragically short in World War One a century ago.
On a short foray out today between the commemorations, we met this little lass. Luna is a young barn owl raised from an orphaned chick by a local animal rescue charity. Such natural beauty on a sadly reflective day.
