Donkey dog

Today’s blip was going to be our beautiful Pointer, who is so big for his breed that a friend has nicknamed him Donkey Dog. But he wasn’t at all his usual bouncy energetic self today, and is now at the vet being probed to find out what’s wrong. Hope he’s quickly on the mend.
So here instead is a rather swish car seat that looks interestingly upmarket and is as comfortable as it is aesthetically pleasing. Well done Peugeot, you’ve done a good job with the new 508.
It was one of the six shortlisted finalists for this year’s Women’s World Car of the Year, of which I’m one of the 34 judges across 27 countries.The other shortlisted models were the BMW X2, Jaguar E-Pace, Jaguar I-Pace, Porsche Cayenne and Volvo XC60.
The victor? Take a bow, Volvo. The XC40 is the supreme winner of the 2018 WWCOTY.
