War Memorial Month - Day 10

Merchant Navy War Memorial, Tower Hill, London.

Sarah & I were up in town for the Lord Mayor's Show.

En route, we stopped off to capture images of the names of the seven seamen whose names are also on the Grangemouth War Memorial.
Not an easy task but a favour for good friend Jim who is compiling a history of the Grangemouth memorial.

Their names are:

Robert Mather Dennistoun, SS Lavernock (Cardiff),
John Hogg,  SS Clan Macvey (Glasgow)   
Robert Marshall,    SS Barnton (Grangemouth)
John Murray McNair Smith,    SS Barnton (Grangemouth) 
Thomas Bain Smith,      SS Barnton (Grangemouth) 
Harry Smith Stewart,  SS Trinidad.
