Today's the day ……………………… for a Council Meeting

I found myself tonight attending a meeting of the Tongland and Ringford Community Council.

It's a bit of a blur how I agreed to go.  I think it was that nice man Donald that we met at the Remembrance Service in Ringford on Sunday that suggested it?  Anyway, it seemed like a good idea to find out more about the community - and it's not something I've ever been involved in before, so I thought I would give it a go.  I enjoyed it too - and met more interesting people who live nearby. 

Tomorrow we will have been in our new house for exactly three weeks.  So not long at all but in some funny way, it seems as if we've been here for ever ……………………
