Today's the day ………………………….. for Kirkcudbright History Society

A talk tonight by Tom Rees of Rathmell Archaeology - about the 'Community Archaeology 0f The Galloway Glens programme'  which took place over the summer in Kirkcudbright.

There were three locations in the town where activities were happening and anyone was welcome to join in free of charge.  This is Tom pointing out something of interest on John Wood's 1843 Plan of the Town of Kirkcudbright  that was helpful to the excavation at the Moat Brae.

It was fascinating stuff enjoyed by the large audience that had turned out to hear it …………………….
