Padlock bridge

(Photo stolen from Emily)

Met up with Emily and Kate, the assistants I met last week, for afternoon tea. After being forced to leave the first two tea shops (the first one was closed as the owner had recently died, eek, and the second was only doing expensive lunch), we settled on a tea shop near the Corvisart metro stop called l'OisiveThé, which was really nice and quaint, with knitting wool all around the walls, and we had tea and scones. We then went to see this padlocky bridge just along from Pont Neuf near Notre Dame, before finding a restaurant in Saint Michel (despite it only being about 5pm - we got hungry).
Calamari starter, steak 'n' chips, a nutella crepe and a glass of kir all for 10 euros... what on earth!!
