Don and Buddy

Most folks on our street moved here as the neighborhood opened in 2006.  Within the first year, Don's wife became ill and died.  Buddy came into his life soon after.  Buddy is a now aging Boxer who is the best companion he could be.  This photo shows them in one of their daily routines.  They seem to  be constantly going somewhere to walk or interact with other owners and dogs,  Don retired as a police office in a major US city before coming here.  He lives about 6 houses up the street from our house.
