Prison Bridge Again

In the early hours of this morning, there was yet another crash at Prison Bridge. (Deaths in 2012, 2014 and in August 2018.)

The bridge has just been repaired after the August accident and it was damaged again this morning. Thankfully, no death this time.

The bridge is very  close to my home and pass it every day.

This morning I was stopped by a man who asked if I knew what happened this time and I told him what I had heard (via FB).

He told me he was Karly's dad. Karly was killed in the August accident. She was 20 years old and a mum.

So followed a sad conversation.  I hope I said all the right things to him. We both struggled to keep our emotions at bay.
