The River Severn at Shrewsbury

I had to go to Shrewsbury today and when I got on the bus spotted an elderly lady that I know from U3A. She is a wonderful character and great fun so I had a most enjoyable trip to town as we chatted all the way.

When I got there I popped into M&S and who should be there but my brother and J so we had a good chat too. It was lovely to see them.

The weather was beautiful so I had a little walk along the bank of the River Severn and spotted the turquoise flash of a kingfisher crossing the water. They're always a treat to see!
