Reindeer Bug

This landed on my knee today & my first thought was "Shake it off quickly , it's a stingy thing!"? (My eyesight is not good with close objects) Then I realised it was something far less menacing & quite colourful so I transferred it to a surface from which I could photograph it- a plastic wheelbarrow handle. Remarkably both had the same colour combination!? Back a moment later with the camera, I found it was drinking from moisture in a tiny depression in the plastic, so cute. And I thought how much like a reindeer it looked in close up.? What do you think? Do I have too much Christmas on the brain?
