'Bloody Hot Day'

What a scorcher of a day. On the way home this afternoon the outside temperature off my car thermometer read 42 degrees. Phew.

I spent the whole morning out at La Trobe University auditing one of their old buildings today, luckily had a early start before the heat really kicked in. By lunchtime it was sitting in the mids 30's.

By the time I got back to the office, I could feel a headache coming on, possibly from dehydration which I suffer from quite a bit. I thought I had enough water to drink during the morning (3 bottles) but obviously my body needed more. Arrived home a bit early and collapsed on the bed for about an hour before getting up.

This image is of a local vine in our area (not sure what it's called) but it has these really fluffy white flowers on it this time of year which look a bit like cotton balls. Someone in our area might know what these are called?

See the fluffiness.

Found another little butterfly, just like yesterdays blip but in much better shape. See it here.

Another image from tonight that I quite liked.
