Winter Crop

I imagine the mild weather will have helped this winter crop grow faster than normal.
It was a rather discombobulating day at the coal face, but the arrival of a cycling friend at lunch time helped me to put aside my pick momentarily and rest on my shovel.

There was a big shocking horror moment when I managed with extreme difficulty to access our BT account and found we were in debt to them and they were doubling our monthly direct debit despite my thinking it was way too high in the first place. Our contract has still 6 months to run but I think BT has had it with the Dower House and we have to switch our loyalty.
