A tough day at work . . . . .

The organisation and prep beforehand is the toughest part of our annual Year 9 Aquathon day. It's not too tough a life taking 200 lovely youngsters down to the beach for the day . . . . .

They swim a short circuit then run down the beach and back. When all the events were through we BBQ'd sausages for them, did a bit of beach clean-up then had afternoon activities - beach touch, cricket, volleyball, sand-sculptures (very popular and some amazing results!). Back on the buses and a quick 15 minute drive back to school in time to catch their regular buses home. We're pretty fortunate to have Rabbit Island right on our doorstep :)

Yup - some days are pretty tough!
