The Rural Parliament

I started the day in Edinburgh but early on went across country to speak at the closing session of Scotland's Rural Parliament.

I also spoke at the first Rural Parliament in Oban in 2014 and indeed I remember the Cabinet discussion that approved this initiative in 2012.  

So it was a pleasure to be back and to support the great work being done to ensure rural Scotland has a united and clear voice. 

Cathleen  was at the event too , given her active interests, so  afterwards we drove up to Glasgow together and spent the evening at the SNP St Andrew's Night dinner - a massive affair with over 600 people present.
