Poorly
Took Rusty to the vets this morning after he woke up and staggered around and fell down. His head was unsteady and his eyes moving left to right. Much like in May. I held him still and did some TTouch ear slides that are great for calming a dog. He came round quite quickly but I wanted him checked so husband and I headed off. The vet says he has peripheral vestibular syndrome, it's more common in old dogs but probably due to his head injury when he was a pup, he was kicked in the head by a horse. It sounds like in May it was a vestibular attack rather than ear infection that had him react in same way. It's not too severe and no treatment necessary. He we can tell is not 100% and should in next few days be back to normal but his attack was very mild. He wants cuddles and healing and rest. Good to know what it is.
Restful afternoon followed by watching the Scottish rugby match. All feeling a bit run down today.
